Lilly and the Egg (Lilly y el Huevo)

Lily and the Egg is a bilingual book that teaches young children about bird eggs, and how to be curious yet respectful of wildlife. The book is a beautifully illustrated story telling how Lilly finds a robin’s egg on the ground. Lilly, a bright-eyed, curious, and kind girl, wants to rescue the lost egg. By seeking help and advice from others, Lilly works to figure out the best way to help the egg so that it might hatch. Critical thinking questions are included at the end of the book to help children ages 3 to 6 process the lessons Lilly learned in the story.
