The Study on Emotions that Influence Positive Experiences in Taekwondo Players

This study aimed to explore the positive experiential aspects of emotions concerning positive taekwondo experiences, focusing on flow as a central and integrative component. The research methodology was based on the persuasive research methodology of Chiksentmihai's definition of flow and the flow literature to review concepts related to positive taekwondo experiences such as joy, happiness, fun, enjoyment, flow, peak performance, and peak experience. It also raised questions about the use of different terms to describe aspects of the taekwondo experience and how these terms relate to each other and the positive aspects of taekwondo. As a result, the concept of flow is emphasized as a central and unifying phenomenon that helps explain what makes taekwondo positive.
