A study on The Chemical Properties of Desert Soils in Najaf Governorate, including the effect of Attapulgite Clay and its Nanoparticles on the Growth and Yield of Solanum Lycopersicon

We investigated the effects of Attapulgite clay irrigation and ground amendment on soil characteristics, tomato growth, and yield. Attapulgite clays were used as earth amendments at 600, 1300 and 3000 kg ha-1. In addition, spraying Attapulgite clay over leaves after nano transformation produced 0 and 1 g/l amendments. Assuming the salinity rise was not statistically significant, soil characteristics improved from (2.51) for treatment A0N0B0 to (4.12) for treatment A3N1B3. The soil pH interaction increased as neutralizers improved it. The substance and attapulgite clay increased positive ion exchange capacity. Positive ion exchange capability increased with component content. For treatment A0N0B0, wave ion exchange capacity rose from 13.85 to 23.42. Treatment A3N1B3's organic matter concentration rose with clay and organic matter. Thus, adding attapulgite clays and organic matter immediately and significantly improved sandy soil. .
