Themes with historical connotations in the original ballets of Yurii Grigorovichi
Throughout time, history was fructified so that the past would give examples to the present through inspiring models of art worthy of following in the present day. A work of art is a form of existence of art that reflects the world in all its complexity of diversity and aesthetic wealth. This article addresses the historical subject conveyed in the original ballets “Spartacus” and “John the Terrible” by Y. Grigorovichi, where we discover the forms of symphonic dance and in ensemble, the techniques of choreographic dramaturgy and the importance of classical dance in a leading role. Y. Grigorovichi conveyed the entire complexity of the historical era through the choreographic diversity of the profound philosophy of his heroes, revealing the historical time through their emotional inner world.
