Abstract

One of the global challenges of the XXI century is environmental (the nega-tive impact of the environment associated with the growth of industry, urbanization, an increase in the number of transport, global warming, etc.) provides for the development of necessary measures to protect atmospheric air, water resources, and adaptation to climate change to ensure a safe environment and public health. The article analyzes the incidence rates per 1000 people of the population by the main classes of diseases in the federal districts of the Russian Federation related to the state of atmospheric air, water quality, soil condition of residential areas, "physical" pollution) and measures to reduce the negative impact of the environment on public health. Measures to adapt the population to climate change are considered.
