Socio-cultural rehabilitation of children with disabilities by means of decorative and applied art

The article is devoted to the analysis of the problems of socio-cultural rehabilitation of children with disabilities. The purpose of the article is to identify the main trends in the use of decorative and applied arts in the rehabilitation process and describe the content of work with this category of children. It was revealed that for effective work with children with disabilities, it is important to conduct classes with modeling elements, praise the child and develop skills in various conditions and scenarios. Artistic activity can help children with disabilities develop many important life skills, creativity and imagination, self-expression, confidence and independence, and contribute to becoming full-fledged subjects of public relations.
