Observations about <i>Neomys milleri</i> (Mammalia: Soricidae) predation on <i>Austropotamobius pallipes</i> (Crustacea: Astacidae)

In this work, we report the results obtained from the analysis of video footage regarding the predation of N. milleri on A. pallipes. It was a useful opportunity to observe some behavioral strategies. Skillful maneuvers by N. milleri, combined with toxic saliva, allow it to attack a large prey in relation to its size.
