THE ROLE OF TRANSPORT NETWORK USER AWARENESS IN OPTIMIZING TRAFFIC FLOW MANAGEMENT

The role of transport network user awareness in optimiz-ing flow management. The article examines the concepts of direct and indirect traffic flow management. The relationship between the control method and driver awareness is presented. Flow distribution models are considered and disequilibrium factors are introduced that explain the discrepancy between the model flow distribution and the actual one. It is shown that the efficiency criteria have a complex relationship.
