Catechism (Quiz 24)
Part 1 A 57-year-old female presented with a gradually increasing swelling on her forehead since 3 months. On examination, it was located at the left temporal region, measured 3 cm × 3 cm, and was firm, non-mobile, and non-tender. Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) of brain showed a destructive lesion in the greater wing of sphenoid bone with mass effect and extension, suggestive of chondrosarcoma. Fine-needle aspiration cytology (FNAC) of the swelling was performed, and Papanicolaou and Giemsa stain smears were prepared [Figure 1].Figure 1Questions What is your interpretation? Which immunochemistry markers will confirm the diagnosis?
