A Simple Step-Stress Accelerated Life Test Model for Weibull Distribution with Non-Constant Shape Parameters
The Weibull distribution has widespread application in accelerated life test. Currently, most step-stress accelerated life tests (SSALT) under the Weibull distribution assume constant shape parameters, which may not accurately reflect reality in many cases. In this paper, a simple SSALT model based on failure rate is proposed for Weibull distribution with non-constant shape parameters. And the maximum likelihood estimation and interval estimation of the model parameters are obtained with complete sample data. Finally, the model’s effectiveness is assessed through numerical analysis.
