Research on the Characterization Method of Lidar Echo Pulse Intensity
LiDAR echo intensity data records the radiation characteristics and surface roughness of the target object. The use of echo intensity data for effective target recognition and extraction has gradually become a research hotspot in the field of LiDAR signal processing. This article analyzes and compares several commonly used methods for recording LiDAR echo intensity data, derives the theoretical formulas for each method's LiDAR echo intensity recording method, and conducts actual experimental verification. The experimental results indicate that the intensity data obtained by the waveform centroid recording method shows a clear linear distribution trend with the target reflectivity, with a small standard deviation and high robustness.
