Method and Processes of Preliminary Aircraft Safety Analysis based on MBSA
As aviation equipment systems become more and more complex, safety work during aircraft development has also gained paramount importance. In the current realm of civil aircraft safety work, this paper analyzes the disconnections between system safety effort and aircraft development, as well as the disconnections between aircraft level and system level. MBSA method was introduced to system safety effort to aircraft development to improve current situation of heavy workload and many iterative changes in aircraft level safety work. Model based preliminary aircraft safety analysis (PASA) and processes of its application were both researched, and specific steps to carry out the preliminary aircraft level safety work were given. The application process and results of the method are demonstrated by an example, which proves that the research results can effectively connect the safety work of aircraft level and system level, then strongly support the subsequent system level safety work.
