Adaptive Load Frequency Control Strategy Considering Energy Storage Systems
The integration of energy storage systems into the power grid can achieve load frequency control (LFC) and improve the frequency stability of the grid. To address the challenges posed by the potential instability of control systems during the integration and withdrawal of energy storage systems in the grid, this paper proposes an adaptive control strategy based on asynchronous switching. Firstly, based on multiple scenarios of energy storage systems, a Lyapunov function is constructed to design control parameters; Secondly, using the average dwell time (ADT) technique and a smooth transition strategy, the stability of control parameter switching between multiple scenarios is ensured; Finally, compared with control schemes that do not consider the stability of the control system, simulation experiments show that the proposed method significantly reduces the dynamic impact of energy storage systems on the control system and enhances frequency stability.
