Exploring Energy and Power Translation in China College Students’ ‘Internet+’ Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition
In the context of globalization and energy transition, the energy power industry is rapidly evolving, encompassing various fields such as renewable energy technology research and development, smart grid construction, and electricity market transactions. With the increase in international collaboration projects, precise translation of specialized terminology, technical documents, and regulatory policies has become particularly crucial. In response to this trend of the era, the members of Huadian Translations Language Services Studio at one University in China have initiated an energy power translation project. This project aims to participate in the "Internet+" College Students' Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. This paper will focus on presenting the product and service description of this project, as well as the technical highlights of utilizing a large-scale language model in the specific vertical domain. It will also propose a construction framework for the vertical domain large language model.
