Porous Supramolecular Crystalline Probe that Detects Non‐Covalent Interactions Involved in Molecular Recognition of Furanic Compounds (Small 49/2024)
Porous Crystalline Materials In article number 2405507, Shohei Tashiro, Mitsuhiko Shionoya, and co-workers revealed that the crystalline nanochannels of a porous metal-macrocycle framework efficiently recognize biomass-derived furan derivatives such as 5-hydroxymethylfurfural through multipoint interactions and applied this to a comprehensive crystallographic analysis of non-covalent interactions involved in the catalytic conversion and separation processes of the furan derivatives.
