Highly Sustainable h‐BN Encapsulated MoS 2 Hydrogen Evolution Catalysts (Small 49/2024)
Hydrogen Evolution Catalysts An innovative strategy for highly sustainable MoS2 monolayer catalysts, employing an atomically thin h-BN protection layer, is demonstrated to devise an efficient hydrogen evolution reaction. The robust and chemically inert h-BN layer shows selective penetration for proton and a high potential barrier for other ions in an electrolyte, enabling the MoS2 catalyst to achieve a super-stable hydrogen evolution reaction under high current operation.
