Geologically conditioned method of adjustment of a gravimetric network

Abstract A modified method of parametric adjustment is proposed, with the introduction of zero drift as an additional unknown. It is shown that this method is more reliable and efficient for processing gravimetric measurements. The advantages of the proposed approach over the well-known methods used today for processing the results of relative gravimetric measurements are substantiated. The results obtained with the proposed adjustment approach are analyzed, as well as the possibilities for optimizing the overall program for measuring the gravimetric network. The analysis is supported by an example from a specific and real object. Conclusions and recommendations follow.
