Visualization Analysis of Substation Ventilation Research Based on Bibliometrics

With the continuous growth of electricity demand and the expansion of grid scale, the safety and reliability of substations, as an important part of the power system, have received increasing attention. This study employs bibliometric analysis, using CiteSpace and VOSviewer tools, to systematically analyze the research status, hotspots, and trends in the field of substation ventilation. Through quantitative analysis of 130 papers from the Web of Science core collection from 2001 to 2024, the study reveals the research dynamics and main research directions in this field. The findings indicate that research interest and activities in the field of substation ventilation have shown a growing trend year by year, especially after 2016, with a significant increase in annual publications. Additionally, China holds a significant position in this field, although the average citation rate of papers is low, suggesting that the quality of publications needs improvement. Research hotspots mainly focus on numerical simulation technology, ventilation and noise control, as well as intelligent ventilation cooling and energy saving. This study provides a reference for understanding the research progress, hotspots, and trends in the field of substation ventilation.
