Evaluation on the Construction of New Power System of Different Cities

The report of the 20th National Congress of the Communist Party of China has set the direction for the high-quality and leapfrog development of energy and electricity in the new era and put forward higher requirements. To actively implement the “dual carbon” strategy and promote the construction of a new energy system, the evaluation of the power system should also be based on the new stage of development and guided by new development concepts. The development of the new power system first needs to ensure the reliability, safety, and electrical energy quality of the power grid, and ensure the unique characteristics of the new power system in resource optimization, cleanliness, and economy. Based on this, a comprehensive evaluation index system for the construction of the new power system has been established. Corresponding indicator data from four power grid companies nationwide from 2014 to 2023 was collected, and finally, the AHP-TOPSIS method was used to evaluate the comprehensive scores of each power grid company. This provides a multi-level, long-term, comprehensive, and holistic evaluation of the current status of new power system construction in the power grid.
