Super‐Resolution Imaging in Collagen‐Abundant Thick Tissues
Super-Resolution Imaging In article number 2400231, Sung-Jan Lin, Li-An Chu, and co-workers show that collagen expansion microscopy (ColExM) enables a 4.5-fold linear expansion of collagen-rich tissues, like corneal and skin samples, with minimal distortion. It supports immunostaining and super-resolution imaging of complex neural structures in tissues with over 70% collagen. ColExM reveals fine details such as nanoscale collagen fibers and dendritic spine-like structures, advancing tissue biology and therapeutic research.
