Dukungan Keluarga Terhadap Pengetahuan Ibu Post Partum Primipara Tentang Perawatan Payudara

The postpartum period is a critical phase in a mother's life, especially for primiparous mothers who are experiencing motherhood for the first time. Family support, age, education, and employment are some of the factors that influence an individual's knowledge. This research used a quantitative method with a cross-sectional design, involving 30 postpartum primiparous mothers at the Kayon Health Center in Palangka Raya, using consecutive sampling. The statistical analysis used were univariate frequency distribution and bivariate chi-square. The results show that family support is associated with knowledge, with a P-value of 0.045. Age is associated with knowledge, with a P-value of 0.004. Education is associated with knowledge, with a P-value of 0.020. No association was found between employment and knowledge of breast care, with a P-value of 0.139. The implications of these findings suggest the importance of increasing family involvement in providing support to postpartum mothers, as well as the need for broader health education interventions to enhance knowledge of breast care, particularly for mothers with lower education levels. Keywords:Breast care, Knowledge, Primipara.
