Ultra-Dense Networks with NOMA and SWIPT Interplay for SE and EE in 5G/6G
Ultra-Dense Networks (UDNs) represent a promising paradigm for meeting the ever-increasing demand for high data rates and connectivity in modern wireless communication systems. This paper investigates the interplay of Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) and Simultaneous Wireless Information and Power Transfer (SWIPT) to enhance the performance of UDNs. We explore Mean Field Game (MFG), Stackelberg, and their combination, with simulation results demonstrating the effectiveness of the NOMA-SWIPT framework in improving the performance metrics of UDNs, spectral efficiency (SE) and energy efficiency (EE), specifically. Additionally, a user clustering algorithm is proposed to enhance the system's performance by improving data rates. This research paves the way for advancements in next-generation wireless communication systems.
