Optimization of Interference Mitigation Techniques for Multi Carrier Systems in Underwater Communication

In the realm of 5G multi-carrier technology, a refined time-domain pulse interference suppression method tailored for multi-carrier communication systems utilizing cosine modulation filter banks is proposed. This innovative scheme harnesses compressed sensing and reserved subcarrier technology to accurately estimate the position and magnitude of time-domain pulse interference, given the number of known interferences. At the receiving end, the system initially predicts pulse interference by reserving information on subcarriers. Subsequently, it employs a compressive sensing greedy basis tracking algorithm to estimate mixed interference on other carriers. Finally, it combines the predicted information to extract pure pulse interference from the mixed interference and eliminate it. Simulation experiments were conducted to compare the reliability of this method with traditional interference suppression techniques. The results demonstrate that the interference suppression method proposed in this paper is more effective in suppressing time-domain pulse interference, reducing the system's symbol error rate, and effectively mitigating the Inter-Symbol Interference (ISI) encountered in multipath channels. This enhanced approach offers a promising solution for improving the performance and reliability of multi-carrier communication systems in the context of 5G technology.
