Design and Performance Evaluation of Human-Machine Interface in Civil Aircraft Cockpits Based on Touch Interaction Technology
With the expanding application of touch technology in the aviation field, increasingly mature touch interaction technology has gradually become an important component of the human-machine interface in civil aircraft cockpits. This study focuses on analyzing human factors engineering considerations in the design of touch interfaces and proposes performance evaluation standards. Through an in-depth analysis of relevant airworthiness requirements and industry standards, this study defines design guidelines applicable to touch interfaces in civil aircraft, particularly in terms of pilot error management. The study also adopts a scenario evaluation method and develops test scenarios to verify the usability of touch interfaces. The evaluation standards cover multiple aspects, including visibility, readability, operability, interactivity, and error management design. This study provides systematic design recommendations and an evaluation framework for the application of touch technology in civil aircraft cockpits, enhancing operational reliability, reducing operational errors, and ensuring flight safety. The results indicate that through reasonable design and evaluation, touch interfaces can achieve efficient human-machine interaction in the civil aviation field and effectively enhance the operational safety of pilots.
