Long Term Online Monitoring Technology for Mountain Transmission Lines Based on Heterogeneous Network Architecture

High-voltage transmission line is the main component of the distribution network of the electric power system, which is responsible for the power supply of the entire regional power grid, and when it fails, it will cause a large area of power outage. The existing high-voltage transmission line condition monitoring system is expensive, difficult to apply, and cannot meet the actual needs of the power grid. Aiming at the problem of incomplete lag between real-time information collection and back transmission of tower data of transmission lines in mountainous areas, the research is based on computer vision to detect transmission lines in mountainous areas, and 5G and ZigBee networks are combined to realize the transmission of real-time information on power lines and the demand for signal coverage in the blind area of the network of tower lines. The results show that the combination of 5G and ZigBee network, the number of wireless transmission packets is 10 times, the transmission delay is the shortest, and it can accurately recognize the transmission lines in the complex environment, and it has strong robustness to noise interference. The model proposed in this research is able to provide real-time feedback on the fault status of the system over a longer period of time, thus reducing the incidence of grid accidents.
