Contributions on the Use of Dynamic Absorbers in a Vehicle Engine
In the study presented in the paper, a theoretical calculation will be made regarding engine vibration dampers. These will be validated with the experimental model. These validations bring results in static and dynamic balance through the reduction of torsional vibrations in the engine. Torsional vibrations are caused by various factors as well as engine operating conditions. The paper focuses on the reduction of torsional vibrations from a theoretical and experimental point of view. Therefore, in this study, a dynamic absorber was considered which was integrated into the system considered by the paper and was analyzed both from the point of view of its static and dynamic behavior.
