A remote updating method of infrared thermal image program based on K7 FPGA
With the rapid development of embedded systems, FPGA is more and more widely used in infrared thermal images. Traditional infrared thermal images generally update curing programs through JTAG interface. When infrared thermal images enter large photoelectric systems as subsystem components, they often do not have the conditions to update programs with external JTAG emulators due to factors such as space, structure and weight. In this paper, a method of remote program update of infrared thermal image FPGA based on serial communication is proposed, which does not need to open the cover and multiplexes the communication serial port of external system with the online program upgrade serial port, and completes the system communication and program remote update function by time sharing. Experiments show that when the baud rate of high-speed serial port is set to 614400bps, the time required for burning 11MB FPGA program file is 10 minutes. This method solves the problem of remote update of infrared component FPGA program in complex photoelectric system, and the success rate of remote update can be effectively improved by adding multi-boot strategy of FPGA program
