Preferred thermal aerosol fire extinguishing agent additives based on high-speed infrared imagers
In most cases, a 2s timeframe is sufficient for hot aerosol extinguishing agents to burn out. Additives with a high nitrogen composition can enhance the burning speed and increase the production of nitrogen. A standard deviation correction algorithm, based on the high-speed infrared imager, was proposed to test the flame temperature curve, avoiding the difficulties of thermocouple acquisition and low sampling frequency. This was combined with the Grubbs criterion to judge the combustion stability of transiently burning hot aerosol fire extinguishing agents. The stable combustion temperature and residual rate were also considered to analyze the combustion performance. The results demonstrate that the standard deviation algorithm, based on the temperature profile, is capable of rapidly identifying the most effective additives and optimal ratio, facilitating the selection of extinguishing times and stable combustion temperatures.
