Effective masses and magnetic moments of charmed baryons in asymmetric hot strange hadronic matter

Abstract

In the present work, we have studied the masses and magnetic moments of <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:mrow><a:mi>spin</a:mi><a:mo>−</a:mo><a:msup><a:mrow><a:mfrac><a:mrow><a:mn>1</a:mn></a:mrow><a:mrow><a:mn>2</a:mn></a:mrow></a:mfrac></a:mrow><a:mrow><a:mo>+</a:mo></a:mrow></a:msup></a:mrow></a:math> and <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><c:mrow><c:mi>spin</c:mi><c:mo>−</c:mo><c:msup><c:mrow><c:mfrac><c:mrow><c:mn>3</c:mn></c:mrow><c:mrow><c:mn>2</c:mn></c:mrow></c:mfrac></c:mrow><c:mrow><c:mo>+</c:mo></c:mrow></c:msup></c:mrow></c:math> singly and doubly charmed baryons in the strange hadronic medium at finite temperature using the chiral SU(3) quark mean field model. The scalar-isovector field, <q:math xmlns:q="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><q:mi>δ</q:mi></q:math>, and the vector-isovector field, <s:math xmlns:s="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><s:mi>ρ</s:mi></s:math>, contribute when the medium has finite isospin asymmetry. We have calculated the effective masses of constituent quarks and charmed baryons in the nuclear and strange matter within the chiral SU(3) quark mean field model and have used these as the input in SU(4) constituent chiral quark model to compute the effective magnetic moments of these baryons.
