HE Validation Suite (HEVS): An automated approach to verify and validate HE models.

The HE Validation Suite (HEVS) is an automated software package allowing HE models developers to easily validate HE models against available experiments.HEVS supports twenty unique HEs and thirty types of HE related focus experiments.There are more than one thousand experimental entries that can be utilized for HE models validation.The application suite is built on open-source software leveraging extensive use of Perl and Python packages and routines which can be executed by users with simple commands.It can generate specific input unique to individual experiments in its database, generate corresponding figure of merit comparisons between simulation and experiment, and summarize all results to generate archival evidence files.Leveraging these capabilities, HEVS can also perform HE model parameters refinement using Bayesian analysis.
