Study on the Influence of Arrangement of Diffuser on the Pollutant Diffusion in High-level Biosafety Laboratories
The diffusion of pollutants in high-level biosafety laboratories is mainly affected by indoor airflow, and the installation position of air-supply inlets and exhaust outlets will affect the indoor airflow. In this paper, a biosafety level three laboratory in Shanghai is taken as the research object, and computational fluid dynamics(CFD) numerical simulation is used to analyse the effects of three different air-supply inlets and exhaust outlets arrangements on indoor airflow and pollutant diffusion. The simulation results show that there are air vortex in different forms of up-supply and down-exhaust arrangements, which ultimately lead to the accumulation of pollutants. The use of up-supply and up-exhaust arrangements can effectively alleviate the phenomenon of indoor pollutant accumulation. This study provides a reference for the installation location of air vents in similar laboratories.
