Economic Efficiency of Innovative Technologies for Cultivation of Malting Barley

The article presents a comparative agronomic, energy and economic analysis of modern technologies for cultivating spring malting barley in the agroclimatic conditions of the Chuvash Republic. To obtain high-grade malting grain and increase the profitability of its production it is advisable to use traditional agricultural technology based on moldboard plowing. The use of minimum and zero technologies worsens the quality of barley grain reducing the economic efficiency of its cultivation by 1.3-4.4%.
