Artificial Intelligence in Homoeopathy-The End or the Beginning?

Background: Homeopathy, a holistic system of medicine founded on the principles of "like cures like" and individualized treatment, has been in practice for over two centuries. The vast progress of the healthcare sector has brought Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the forefront as a transformative technology. Objective: This study's objective is to understand the integration of AI into homeopathic practice and assess its impact on patient care.Materials and Methods: A comprehensive review of the literature was conducted in PubMed and Google searches were conducted, utilizing the keywords 'artificial intelligence.' to collect insights, Results: The results of this study indicate that AI has the potential to revolutionize homeopathic practice in multiple ways, including personalized treatment planning, enhanced research capabilities, streamlined patient management, and improved remedy selection. Also, the AI-powered systems such as ChatGPT can assist with patient education, symptom analysis, preliminary guidance, remedy suggestions, appointment scheduling, and patient record keeping.Furthermore, AI can contribute to the quality control of homeopathic remedies, provide language translation support, offer continuing education resources, and even assist in emergency situations and public health information dissemination. Conclusion:The integration of Artificial Intelligence into homeopathy holds significant promise for optimizing patient care and improving the overall efficiency of homeopathic practice. While AI and ChatGPT can provide valuable information and preliminary guidance, they should not replace the expertise of trained homeopathic practitioners.
