Bio‐Inspired Hybrid Laser Direct Writing of Interfacial Adhesion for Universal Functional Coatings (Adv. Funct. Mater. 49/2024)
Gecko-Inspired Interfacial Adhesion In article number 2408354, Kaichen Xu and co-workers propose a gecko-inspired hierarchical and universal strategy based on hybrid laser direct writing, which comprises an armoured frame structure for surface protection and a riveted anchor structure for mechanical interlocks. The dual-scale configurations endow functional coatings with stronger adhesion to the targets, holding promise in the interfaces of advanced equipment and under harsh scenarios.
