Medo que vem do céu: o efeito psicológico da aviação durante a Revolução de 1932
Since its introduction in the battle scene in the early decades of the twentieth century, the airplane demonstrated its ability to lower the enemy’s morale, influencing their willingness to fight. This study presents the use of aviation as a vector of psychological warfare during the Revolution of 1932 and highlights that the plane, besides the physical damage to the opponent on the ground, had a huge psychological effect on soldiers and on the civilian population, specially in São Paulo.
