Plano Estratégico de Pesquisa e Desenvolvimento de Interesse da Defesa:

This paper presents the basic components and the strategy defined in the Strategic Plan for Research and Development for the Departamento de Ciência e Tecnologia Aeroespacial (DCTA), designed for a time span of eleven years, from 2008 to 2018, emphasizing competences. The research is exploratory and was held in 2010. It was compiled from documentary and bibliographic information, which were predominantly qualitative conspicuous. The study is supplemented with explanatory information about the current competitive advantages and skills. At the end, it is concluded that the Plan prepared by the DCTA has a strong foundation in the Theory of Resources in seeking to achieve the objectives of the Defense, the Science and Technology and the Industry sectors. This Plan was developed with greater emphasis on core competence (research and development in aerospace science and technology), whose military aspects are used as a guide.
