Legitimidade do Poder e da Defesa Aeroespacial no Brasil

This article deals with Aerospace Power and Aerospace Defense Legitimacy. Legitimacy is regarded as an essential condition for institutional development in a democracy. Aerospace Power and Aerospace Defense concepts are proposed and related to broader concepts in whose context must be understood: National Power and Defense. Air Power is presented as a logical and historical precedent of Aerospace Power and both concepts are related to social perception and citizenship. Legitimacy is focused as a determinant factor for budgetary assignment as well as a concept to be formulated by all social and political branches involved.
