Emprego de veículo blindado de transporte de tropa no âmbito do Comando da Aeronáutica

This research aims to identify the possibilities of the use of armored vehicles for troop transportation (VBTP) in the Air Force Command (COMAER) and to verify the impact of the (VBTP) for the Brazilian aerospace power strengthening. The data were collected through bibliographic and documentary researches, internet articles and a questionnaire. The documentary analysis identified that SISTRANS current law does not define the concept and specifications of the VBTP; however, it indicates its use in the aeronautics employment infantry unit. Therefore, there is a gap between the need for resources for the INFAER fulfills its mission and the logistical support to meet such need.
