Improving Access to Skin Care with a Multi-Factorial Strategy Using Vision Transformers
This research explores the use of digital health technologies to address skin health disparities in underprivileged communities. By leveraging Vision Transformers (ViT), mHealth apps, telemedicine, social media, virtual reality (VR), augmented reality (AR), and geographic information systems (GIS), the study aims to enhance community engagement, improve access to care, and improve early detection of skin health conditions. The research findings demonstrate a significant increase in community participation (40%), improved access to treatment (30%), and enhanced diagnostic accuracy (20%) through the implementation of these digital health technologies. This approach has the potential to reduce skin health inequities and promote more equitable outcomes. By utilizing the power of technology, this research contributes to advancing healthcare accessibility and improving the well-being of marginalized communities.
