Blockchain in Education: a New Approach to Storing and Verification of Academic Works

The paper explores the role of blockchain technologies in the field of education for storing and verifying students’ academic works. Blockchain is a promising technology for solving problems related to data security, transparency and accessibility, especially in the context of scientific research and education. The paper proposes an architecture for a coursework storage system based on blockchain and NFT technology. A description of technologies and system development tools is provided. The main stages of the systems’ work are considered. The advantages and prospects of blockchain systems in the field of education and science are analyzed.
