Restoration of the Impulse Profile in the Remote Monitoring System of Technical Facilities
The article is dedicated to the examination of effective methods for assessing the original signal profile, distorted during transmission in an optical system, in terms of speed and error reduction. Light pulses undergo degradation in the form of parameter changes while propagating through various media and being registered by photodetectors. The restoration of such parameters, as well as the original profile of the pulses themselves, can be viewed as a deconvolution task and is important in the development and creation of optical devices for the study and registration of various processes. Such systems are used in the remote diagnostics of technical facilities in industry and automotive engineering. The object of study is a system for registering spectral parameters of fast-paced processes observed using optical fiber probes. An approach has been proposed to assess the original parameters of the signal, based on the analysis of a test pulse and the properties of the system itself. The obtained results confirm the effectiveness of the proposed approach and the possibility of increasing the processing speed and accuracy of analysis for industrial and automotive engineering tasks.
