Microgrid Voltage Control Strategy Based on Key Node Measurement Information
Addressing the issue of node voltage violations in microgrid systems during the assimilation of new energy outputs, this paper proposes a voltage control strategy based on key node measurement information. By simplifying the electrical grid topology using the measurement information from key nodes, voltage sensitivity parameters for these nodes are generated. The voltage regulation algorithm uses these sensitivity parameters to determine the adjustment amount for each voltage-regulating device, thereby achieving precise control of node voltages. To consider the economic aspects of the microgrid system, the algorithm also incorporates constraints on the active power of the battery energy storage system to maximize the system's economic benefits. The proposed voltage control strategy was tested on a low-voltage microgrid system in Hong Kong. The results demonstrate that the strategy can achieve voltage control objectives under various conditions while balancing the system's economic efficiency.
