Complete Plant Care Monitoring Using Internet of Things (IoT)

Due to the rapid spread and growth, there has been a notable surge in the need for nourishment in recent years. Currently, the worldwide agricultural production is inadequate to satisfy the nutritional needs of every people suffering from famine. The internet of things offers a wide range of potential for farmers to enhance their agricultural production, leading to a revolution in the industry. Agriculture depends on three essential factors for optimal functioning: soil nutrients, namely nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium; pH level; soil moisture content; and ambient temperature and relative humidity. Sensors installed in the field are used to measure soil moisture levels, NPK values, pH, temperature, and humidity. The ESP8266 wireless communication module only collects sensor data. This module enables the wireless connection, allowing the collected data to be transferred to the cloud for storage. The suggested system not only controls the water supply to the farm but also offers real-time monitoring capabilities based on agricultural parameters. By using a cloud-based web server, the system may provide the farm owner with the ability to monitor sensor values in real-time and operate them remotely.
