Low Voltage Ride through Analysis for the Connection of Photovoltaic Installations to the Power System
An important indicator of the network is the ability to overcome faults, namely Low Voltage Ride Through (LVRT). This paper analyzes the conditions imposed by the legislation in force, the implementation and verification of the fulfillment of the conditions for photovoltaic power plants. From the point of view of the transient regimes that appear in this type of plant, the fact that they do not have inertial generators can be considered that their operation is easier. An element that is still important and must be followed, is that in case of a short circuit, the power plant does not disconnect and has the ability to pass over the defect correctly eliminated by the protections.
