Passitivity Enhancement Strategy for Voltage Controlled Aviation Inverters
With the rapid development of more electric aircraft technology, the aircraft power supply system contains more constant power loads. For the purpose of improving the power supply system stability, this paper proposes a second order generalized integrator (SOGI) based current feed-forward active damping strategy to realize system passivity from 0Hz up to the Nyquist frequency, and thus mitigate the harmonic oscillations caused by the nonlinear and inductive loads. A 5kW three-phase mid-frequency inverter based on LC filter is built in the laboratory. The experimental results show that the proposed control strategy and parameter tuning method can effectively enhance the system passivity and improves the compatibility of the inverter and the load.
