NutriWise FieldGuide: A Web-Based Application with an Integrated Automated Soil Tester to Reduce Synthetic Fertilizer Overuse

Proper soil management is an important part of crop production; thus, this study analyzes soil nutrient value in preserving soil fertility conditions for sustainable farming. The soil NPK analyzer device analyzed the mixed soil samples collected from various sites on a specified farm to determine the overall fertility condition. It displayed the nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium levels, pH, and moisture if they were within the usual range for the crop selected. This paper contains information on how soil nutrient value affects crop growth from the start of the process of identifying the background of the study, and the researcher explains why this study is vital. The overview of current technology addresses the existing situation, pointing out the rationale for the identified problems. Specific goals follow the general objective of the whole project. After months of development, the researcher achieved a 90% completion rate for the system and device. The researcher then conducted the evaluation. The study identified eight respondents to check the system, each with different roles: agriculturists, IT professionals, and farmers. The researcher then calculated and interpreted the data. The SUS testing tools show a total weighted average of 74.06 points; the system is acceptable, feasible, and qualified for deployment. In the current state of the City Agri soil analysis, the device proves significant and useful, especially to the farmers. The Web-based application provides a seamless and automated workflow to identify the soil nutrient level and perform fertilizer recommendation analysis.
