Robot Path Planning Based on a Hybrid Whale Optimization Algorithm
When planning a robot routing problem using a basic Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA), issues such as falling into local optima and slow convergence often arise occur. To address these problems, a hybrid algorithm combining Particle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Whale Optimization Algorithm, called HWOA, has been proposed. In HWOA, the integration of the PSO algorithm enhances the efficiency and performance of the overall algorithm. Finally, the HWOA algorithm is applied in a raster map simulation environment to solve the robot's optimal path problem. By comparing the time, planned path length, and number of inflection points, the results demonstrate that the proposed HWOA algorithm surpasses other algorithms in optimization accuracy and convergence speed, verifying the effectiveness of the improved algorithm.
