Fast Capture Method of Shipborne Radar for Space Targets
At present, shipborne radars are mostly traditional mechanical scanning radars. When capturing and tracking targets, they mainly rely on accurate guidance data. For Space targets, there is a situation where accurate guidance data cannot be provided. When there is a large angle deviation between the guidance data and the actual position, there is a risk of missing the target during manual scanning by the operator. This article designs a segmented spiral search path. In order to ensure the stable operation of the motor, this search path is based on trigonometric function and ensures that the speed at the junction does not jump by adjusting the period of adjacent segments. MATLAB simulation shows that this strategy can cover the deviation range in all directions, has high path stylization, no speed jump during the scanning process, and meets the preset performance indicators. By optimizing the initial segment angular acceleration, the response speed of the antenna can be improved.
