An Information System Analysis and Design of Cash Social Assistance Distribution in North Jakarta
One of the Jakarta government social programs is cash social assistance, which is implemented for the basic needs of the underprivileged. Concerns in business processes include monitoring, tracking, and reporting processes. Monitoring issues arise as a result of data mismatches on assistance received, which disrupts the data monitoring process. Tracking issues arise as a result of a lack of information obtained by the community, resulting in differing understandings and perceptions of cash social assistance. Reporting issue caused by the community's takeout of recipient rights as a result of data incompatibility with the integrated database for social welfare. This study aims to design information systems, determine system requirements, and conduct research on prototypes of cash social assistance information systems in the North Jakarta area. This study uses three methods. The first analysis method is using the waterfall model. Second, the design method employs the unified modelling language, which is an activity diagram, use case diagram, sequence diagram, and class diagram. The third method of evaluation that is used the interview. The result of this study is a design system of monitoring that can be integrated into real- time information, tracking of history menus for the community, and reporting data for social services. One suggestion offered in this study for further research is to implement the system design results for user activities, which could be expected to help business processes.
