Diabetic Prediction with Significant Factors by Random Forest-A Machine Learning Approach
Diabetes is a major disease that is prevalent in an individual throughout one's life if once occurred. Unhealthy lifestyle and food habits are the main reasons, among others, to be affected by this disease. This paper is predicting diabetes for individuals by machine learning algorithm. A Random Forest (RF) classifier is employed to predict a diabetic patient on the basis of p-value and chi-value. For this study, 520 samples from Sylhet Diabetic Hospital were analyzed to predict whether a person is diabetic or non-diabetic. More than 98% accuracy is found in this study. Some factors are found that are highly significant and are responsible for diabetes diseases.
